Isabel Dobarro is widely acknowledged as one of Spain’s most internationally renowned pianists. Her illustrious career has graced some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and the National Auditorium in Madrid. Holding a Ph.D. from New York University, where she assumed a professorship at the tender age of 19, Isabel expertly combines research and performance.
Notably, she places a strong emphasis on the recovery and promotion of female composers, collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the New York Philharmonic, Harvard University, and the European Center for Music. Her renditions of Pauline Viardot’s compositions have earned her the privilege of inaugurating Villa Viardot under the auspices of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.
