“DEE DEE ENSEMBLE” represents the collaborative efforts of a trio of talented multidisciplinary musicians and dancers who share a passion for vintage styles. Their artistic mission is to create a performance that advocates for the freedom of women and humanity as a whole.
Since its establishment in 2018, Dee Dee Swing has garnered recognition in the world of vintage dance and solo Jazz, primarily in Córdoba and surrounding areas, including Priego de Córdoba. The group has maintained a close partnership with the Cultural Association Jazz P.C. and has organized noteworthy events such as the “Solo Jazz Dance” festival, featuring prominent figures in the dance realm, including the Solology dance group led by the talented Claudia Fonte and the Swedish dance duo “Decavitas.”
In this new stage and as a proposal for the IPF Guadalquivir, the group of dancers “Dee Dee Swing” has evolved to become Dee Dee Ensemble, an exciting musical collaboration featuring singer Rocio Martínez and bassist Lara López. Leading the ensemble with her versatility and creativity, Isabel Santofimia contributes her talent by directing the group, creating choreographies, and playing from her piano.
