Born in the city of Encarnación, Paraguay in 1994, Angelica received the title of Senior Professor of Classical Guitar in 2010 at the Municipal Art Center of the city of Encarnación. In 2012, she obtained the title as Senior Professor in lyrical singing at the Amadeus Conservatory in the same city.
In 2015, Angélica relocated to Italy to further her studies in classical guitar and lyrical singing. She graduated with flying colors and received Honors in Classical Guitar from the “Conservatorio Guido Cantelli” in Novara, Italy, under the guidance of Maestro Bruno Giufreddi in 2017. In 2019, she completed her studies in lyrical singing, earning the Laurea Magistrale of II Level under the guidance of Maestro Berardino Di Domenico at the same conservatory.
Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Musical Interpretation with Maestro Aniello Desiderio at the “Accademia Stefano Strata” in the city of Pisa. Additionally, she works as a Classical Guitar teacher at a public institute of musical education in Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
Angelica has received awards in several prestigious international competitions, including:
- First prize at the International Lucas Braulo Areco Competition in Argentina in 2012.
- Special prize for the best interpretation of the mandatory piece at the Andrés Segovia International Classical Guitar Competition in La Herradura, Spain, in 2013.
- First prize at the “Concorso Internazionale di Chitarra Classica Rocco Peruggini” in Italy in 2017.
- First prize at the VII International Guitar Competition Angel G. Piñero online edition in Spain in 2021.
- “Career project” award at the III Swiss International Music Competition online edition in Lugano in 2023.
She has given recitals at significant festivals, including:
- The “Stagione Internazionale di Chitarra Classica” in its eleventh edition, organized by the Atelier Chitarristico Laudense in the city of Lodi, Italy, in 2016.
- A solo concert commemorating the Paraguayan national holidays at the National Library of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain, in 2018.
- A Classical Guitar concert titled “Homenaje a la Mujer” at the Embassy of Paraguay in Rome, organized by the embassy and the Paraguay Italy Association in 2022.
