Hailing from Barcelona, Alba Ventura made her solo debut at the age of thirteen, performing alongside the Cadaqu\u00e9s Orchestra and Sir N. Marriner in San Sebasti\u00e1n and at the National Auditorium of Music. Since then, her career as a soloist has been marked by a continuous ascent, marked by invitations from prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall, Barbican, St. Martin in the Fields Church, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Musikverein, Cit\u00e9 de la Musique in Paris, and Svetlanovsky Hall in Moscow, among others. As well as, of course, performing in the most important Spanish concert halls. Her international activity has also taken her to perform in the United States, Colombia, Argentina, New Zealand and China. Alba has had the privilege of working under the baton of renowned conductors such as Antonini, Harth-Bedoya, Hogwood, Mas, Pons, Oue, Ros Marb\u00e0, and V\u00e1sary, and has collaborated with distinguished orchestras, including the Philharmonia, Hall\u00e9, London Mozart Players, National Philharmonic of Hungary, Czech National Symphony, and leading Spanish orchestras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alba Ventura’s versatility extends to her passion for chamber music. She has collaborated with esteemed quartets such as Brodsky, Takacs, and Casals, as well as world-class violinists like Boris Belkin, Gordan Nikolic, Leticia Moreno, Tai Murray, and Lina Tur Bonet, violist Isabel Villanueva, and cellists David Cohen and Astrig Siranossian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among her numerous accolades, the Queen Elizabeth Rosebowl, presented by the Prince of Wales, stands out. Alba Ventura also triumphed in the international auditions of the Young Concert Artist Trust (YCAT) and was selected for the Rising Stars program promoted by ECHO (European Concert Halls Organisation). She has received the IMPULSA Prize from the Prince of Girona Foundation and the Alb\u00e9niz Medal from the Fundaci\u00f3n P\u00fablica Isaac Alb\u00e9niz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her previous album, “\u00c9tudes,” is a selection of twenty studies from Czerny to Rautavaara and was well-received by both the public and critics. In 2019, Alba Ventura embarked on the recording of the complete Mozart Piano Sonatas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
