In 1963, for a period of 2 years, he furthered his musical studies in Basel, Switzerland, Montpellier, and Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a musician, he was awarded the R\u00e9cord World Prize in the years 1974, 1975, 1976, and 1977.
